What is Profhilo?
Profhilo combination of hyaluronic acids injected just under the skin. However, Profhilo is not a filler: once the product is inserted, it puts the skin to work to start producing its own collagen and elastin. After four weeks, the product is completely gone. The newly created collagen and elastin make your skin look younger: firmer, smoother and more elastic. Profhilo gives a natural firming and lifting effect: as if the clock is turned back several years.
Profhilo is an innovation in the field of skin improvement and recently launched in the Netherlands. The treatment is quick, non-painful and has no downtime: you can return to your activities immediately after treatment. The remedy is safe and produces beautiful, natural results.

What areas can be treated?
Profhilo can be used for the entire face. It is particularly suitable for the superfine lines of sagging “crackle” skin. The treatment gives the skin back its natural resilience: skin quality improves, the skin tightens and gains a beautiful glow. The treatment is also great for sagging skin around the corners of the mouth, on the neck, décolletage, on the hands, knees and upper arms. These areas have always been difficult to treat until now, but with Profhilo we achieve great results.

Treatment
Profhilo is injected under the skin with an ultra-thin needle. This requires only five pricks, far fewer than other hyaluronic acid products. From those places, the drug spreads under the skin within a few hours. Depending on the location and extent of the treatment, your skin may be numbed beforehand with a cream or anesthetic.
The treatment takes about 10 minutes. The production of collagen and elastin takes some time; the quality of your skin improves over the course of several weeks. A second treatment is needed after a month. After 4 to 8 weeks, you will see the results: your skin is visibly tighter, superficial wrinkles have disappeared and your skin has more radiance and firmness. The results last for several months.

Treatment regime
To maintain optimal results, we recommend a maintenance treatment once or twice a year.
Profhilo can be excellently combined with other skin-enhancing treatments, such as PRP. PRP also stimulates the production of elastin and collagen, so the effect will be even better.
