Radiesse® is a temporary dermal filler consisting of a gel which contains small calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres. The lifting and firming effects of the product are immediately visible on injection. Calcium hydroxylapatite stimulates the production of new collagen during the weeks and months following the treatment, giving you firmer and more elastic skin. The effects of Radiesse are enduring, but not permanent, usually lasting a year, if not longer.

Which areas can be treated?
Radiesse is suitable for use on moderate to deep lines. We can also use Radiesse to lift the skin and to correct the contours of the face. Excellent results can also be achieved by rejuvenating and plumping the hands with Radiesse. Radiesse is perfectly compatible with other treatments, such as hyaluronic acid fillers.
Treatment
Radiesse is injected into the skin in small doses using a very fine needle. In most cases, the area to be treated will be numbed. The treatment lasts around 30 minutes and takes immediate effect. The effects remain visible for a year or more.
Treatment plan
One of the properties of Radiesse is that it promotes the production of new collagen in the skin. To take advantage of this, your practitioner may recommend a course of treatments. Sessions will be spread over a number of months to allow the skin time to produce new collagen, thereby enhancing the results of the subsequent treatment further.
