Profhilo is a combination of hyaluronic acids, which are injected directly under the skin. However, Profhilo is not a filler: once the product has been administered, it stimulates the skin to produce collagen and elastin by itself. The product gets entirely used up after four weeks. The newly produced collagen and elastin leave the skin looking younger, stronger, smoother and more elastic. Profhilo provides natural strength and has a lifting effect, turning back the clock a few years.

Which areas can be treated?
Profhilo can be used on any area of the face. It is particularly effective for very fine lines on sagging skin. The treatment returns the skin’s natural elasticity: skin quality improves, the skin becomes firmer and has a lovely glow. The treatment also works very well on sagging skin around the corners of the mouth, on the neck, décolleté, hands, knees and upper arms. These zones have historically been difficult to treat, until now. With Profhilo, we can obtain great results.
The treatment
Profhilo is injected underneath the skin with a super-thin needle. Just five pricks are required – that is far less than with other hyaluronic acid products. From these five areas, the product spreads beneath the skin within a few hours. Depending on the site and extent of the treatment, the skin can be numbed with a cream or numbing solution.
The treatment takes around 10 minutes. Collagen and elastin take a little time to be produced, so the quality of your skin will improve in the space of a few weeks. A second treatment will be required after four weeks. Results will be visible at between 4 and 8 weeks: skin is visibly tighter, superficial wrinkles will fade and skin will be radiant and firmer. The results last a couple of months.

For optimal results, we recommend a maintenance treatment once or twice a year.
Profhilo combines well with other skin enhancement treatments, such as PRP. PRP also stimulates the production of elastin and collagen, therefore producing even better results in combination with Profhilo.
